The unequal side of isosceles triangle is 2 cm.The median drawn to equal sides are perpendicular to each other.Find the area of the triangle.

using property of medians and Pythagoras theorem we can solve this...

◆we know that centroid of any triangle divide medians in ratio 2:1

●so longer side = 2/3 × length of median

● shorter side = 1/3 × length of median.

◆answer is 3 cm^2 ( area of ∆ABC).
