Answer:

Given,

volume of rectangular solid=3600 cubic cm

length (l)=20 cm

height(h)=9 cm

width(b)=?

as we know that volume of rectangular solid=l*b*h

so,

3600=20*9*b

b=3600/180

b=20

Hence the width of the given rectangular solid is 20 cm.

Answer:

breadth of rectangular solid: 18 cm

t.s.a of rectangular solid      : 1860 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

volume of rectangle = 5400 cm^3

length of rectangle  = 20 cm

height of rectangle  = 15 cm

we know,

volume of rectangle = l*b*h

5400                         = 20*b*15

5400                         = 300*b

                       b        = 5400/300

                                 = 18 cm

T.S.A of rectangle = 2(lb+bh+hl)

                              = 2[(20*18)+(18*15)+(15*20)]

                              = 2[360+270+300]

                              = 2[930]

                              = 1860 cm

therefore, breadth of rectangular solid = 18 cm

                T.S.A of rectangular solid      = 1860 cm

can't believe all the answers are wrong and i think they literally cannot process the question cuz it clearly says 5400 cm^3 but the answers are 3600 cm^3
