radius of the tent = 3m approx

slant height of the tent = √(3² +4²) = 5m

curved surface area of the tent = πrl = \frac{22}{7}  * 3 * 5 = 47.14 m²

amount of canvas requires = 47.14m²

canvas is used only on the curved surface area of the tent

cost of canvas = Rs 120/sq.m

total cost of canvas used for the tent = 47.14*120 = Rs 5656.8
