  • Speed of sound wave (v) = 660m/s
  • Frequency of sound wave (f) = 220Hz

\implies{\sf 660=\lambda×220 }

\implies{\sf \lambda =\dfrac{660}{220}}

 \mathtt{ \huge{ \fbox{Solution :)}}}

Given ,

Frequency of sound wave = 220 hz

Speed of sound wave = 660 m/s

We know that , wavelength (λ) is equal to the velocity of the wave divided by the frequency i.e

 \large \mathtt{ \fbox{Wavelength \: (λ) =  \frac{v}{f} }}

Thus ,

λ = 660/220

λ = 3 m

Hence , wavelength of the sound wave is 3 m
