The wavelength of vibrations produced on the surface of water is 2cm.If the wave velocity is 16m/s.Find its frequency and time period.

Frequency

Frequency = Wave speed / Wave length
Frequency = 16 m/s / 2 cm
Frequency = 8 Hz

Time

1 Hz = 1 Cycles / Second
8 Hz = 8 * 1
8 Hz = 8 Cycles / Second
