median of 10 observation is 53
(x+x+2)/2 = 53
2(x+1)/2 = 53
x +1= 53
x = 53-1

so,mean,m = (455+2x)/10
m=(455+2(52))/10
m= (455+104)/10
m= 559/10
m=55.9
