Square root of 500=22.36

22.6 it is not a perfect square

So nearest perfect square is 22

22x22=484

Children's left out in this arrangement=500-484=16

square root of 500 is 22.36

but 22.36 is not perfect square.

so the nearest perfect square is 22.

22² = 484

therefore, children left out = 500-484

= 16
