Number of males are 135 and number of females are 225.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

Let x represents the total number of people in meeting and M represents the male and F represents the females.

x = M + F .......(1)

3 by 8 the people in the meeting are males.

M=\frac{3}{8}\cdot x .......(2)

By equation 1 and 2.

M=\frac{3}{8}\cdot (M+F)......(3)

It is given that there are 90 more females than males.

F=M+90 .......(4)

By equation 3 and 4.

M=\frac{3}{8}\cdot (M+M+90)\\\\M=\frac{3}{8}\cdot (2M+90)\\\\8M=6M+270\\\\2M=270\\\\M=135

ence, the number of males are 135.

The number of females are: 135+90=225

Hence, the number of males are 135 and number of females are 225.
