The conflict between humans and nature is illustrated in the story is in the fact that Lencho's crops were destroyed by a hailstorm which is not supposed to occur in that area ever and this can be seen as a sign that climate change is a real issue and that we are very ignorant to the fact that the things that we do to the environment are the direct cause of such weather phenomenon.
The other conflict is that of the humans with themselves which can be seen in the part of the story where the people try to help Lencho by giving him some money even though they were not related to him in any way.
