Answer:

1. Probability = (no. of favourable outcomes) / total no. of outcomes

                    = 18/200  = 9/100

2.Probability = (no. of favourable outcomes) / total no. of outcomes

                    = 85/100  = 17/20

Answer:

(i) 9/100

(ii) 17/20

Step-by-step explanation:

(i) they are asking for defective probability so we have to take 18 defective parts with respect to total 200 items.

= 18/200= 9/100

(ii) they are asking for good item probability so we have to take 85 good parts with respect to total 100 items.

= 85/100= 17/20
