Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

There are x no. of cows in a field. goats are twice of cows and buffaloes are thrice of goats.

To find::

Find out the total no. of cattle grazing in the field ?

Solution:-

Given that :

Total number of cows in the field = X

Number of goats in the filed

= Twice the number of Cows

= 2×X

= 2X

Number of goats in the filed = 2X

Number of buffaloes in the filed

= Thrice the number of goats

= 3× (2X)

= 6X

Number of buffaloes in the filed = 6X

Total number of cattle grazing in the field

= No. of Cows + No. of goats + No. of buffaloes

= (X) + (2X) +(6X)

= X + 2X + 6X

= ( 1 + 2 + 6 ) X

= 9X

Answer:-

Total number of cattle grazing in the field is 9X
