Undoubtedly there has always been scope for adventure in man's life, and more so in the modern times. Science and technology have made man's life quite comfortable. This comfort has done man more harm than good. Sitting in front of the mobile, computer, and tv screen has sapped his entire life energy. As a consequence he has grown weak physically, mentally, and spiritually. He has forgotten to find solace in nature. He no longer knows the joy of sauntering along a river bank and watching the water flow by. The comforts have deprived him of the joys of carrying out routine activities such as playing, cycling, walking, climbing trees, swimming, running a race, etc. Man basically is an adventure loving animal. Alas! The modern times have transformed him into lazy, comfort seeking animal. However, he satisfies his adventurous urges by watching Man Versus Wild. The need of the hour is to awaken the true man in man. He must undertake adventures regularly if he is to remain fit in the survival struggle, otherwise beings more adventurous than him will overpower him.
