The statement is false.

No movement can be successful unless it is supported by public.

On the other hand, a movement become publicly accepted when the utility and advantage of it is realized by the common mass.

Therefore, if there is a movement and it has to be successful it must be supported by common people.

Unless there is public support, no movement can be successful.
