Go through these points carefully. Your answer lies within-
Usually a trend is observed that blue stands for “male” and pink stands for “female”. As a result, the first discrimination you observe is during your childhood itself when you are mostly dressed in blue and supposed to be playing with cars and action heroes if you are a male, whereas you are all pink and rosy, and you live in a world of barbie and princesses if you are a female.
•When you travel in buses or trains, you find a separate compartment or fixed seats specially reserved for women.
•You are expected to be polite while you talk to women(unless you really start knowing them), which is not the case with men.
•We often tend to trust men in fields involving physical labour, and women in the field of management system.
•We automatically become extra careful when ladies are around. You give your seat to them, open doors for them or just get aside on shops when they are at the counter.
•You see, discrimination lies within us, since the day we are born. We are expected to behave in a particular way according to the gender around us and in no methods will this gender-discrimination stop unless each woman on this Earth is free to go wherever she wants, wear whatever she wants and is free to do whatever she wants. But again, these issues won't end until we stop discriminating on the basis of gender and look at each other equally. So, this is a cycle that has no ending, at least for next few years.
Thank you!
