Thermoplastic is a reversible plastic and Thermosetting is an irreversible . Give reason .

during curing,

thermoplastic are reversible plastic because after cooling they reforms chemical bonds between each monomer and forms polymers of thermoplastic.

but thermosetting polymers are having irreversible chemical bonds. so this is the reason why thermosettings are irreversible.

Because In thermoplastics, the process of softening (by heating) and hardening (on cooling) can be repeated a number of times .this is a reversible process. And In thermosetting plastics, the process of softening (by heating) and hardening (on cooling) can be done once that means they cannot be remoulded. This is irreversible process.
