deforestation is a cause of depletion of water table because when these are awarded the soil also it also loses some of its rich nutrients which doesn't help the groundwater to to hold and the groundwater reaches to the bottom layer of the soil which interns get difficult to take out water and it does not even get purified .
well there are a lot of methods to increase water table like , paving development or login this may increase the level of water table your city.rainwater harvesting can also be used to conserve water .
water should be conserved because it is a very critical resource everyone must have a right to have access to it due to the old growing population the conservation of water is very necessary so that everyone gets equal amount of water if we do not conserve water it may also lead to famine or droughts
