as the art captain, there can be many things to beauty the school, like-
some selected walls can be painted with different types of paintings.
paintings can be put up.
children can help to make decor.
the hand prints of children can be used to paint the wall.

I will try to tell the students that art is not just a word or some paintbrushes, paint and a paper. It is something more than that. You should encourage students to express their thoughts through art. Art is the other name of expression. Drawing, painting, Poster making, T-shirt Painting, best out of waste and many similar competitions will be held in the school. Some students are not good at art and craft but they should also try doing it. You should tell the students to create what they love and love what they create. Some students often consider art as a boring and useless subject. You can tell them that everything is ART. For example, dance, cooking, poetry, storytelling, acting, graphic designing, animations, even life is a form of art.

They can do something like street art to show their talent to everyone. If students understand everything then they will start loving it.   

Students can make paper lanterns

They can paint walls

They can write slogans in Calligraphy or other fonts

They can decorate the doors of the classes. Like writing 10th - F on the door of the class in a creative way.

Making posters and putting them on notice boards when there is nothing on notice board.
