Movie Summary:Bhaagamathie

The movie is a political and horror thriller.Anushka Shetti, Jayaram, Unnimukundan and Asha Sharath plays the lead roles.

Eshwar Prasad(Jayaram) is a politician who is known for his simplicity and truthfulness. The state experiences a lot of idol theft incidents. Eshwar Prasad vows that he'll find it within 6 months.
The politicians at center doesn't likes him bcz of the mass support for him from the public. They insist CBI officer Vaishnavi Natarajan(Asha Sharath) for making a wrong case abt Eshwar Prasad and thus to tarnish his publicity.
Vaishnavi approaches Chancha(Anushka) for knowing the secrets of Eshwar Prasad. Chanchala was an IAS officer and now she is in jail for assassinating her husband Shakthi(Unnimukundan).The police shifts her to Bhaagamathie Bungalow for the interrogation.After repeated interrogation, Chanchala doesn't speak a word abt Eshwar Prasad. The people of that village believed that the Bungalow was haunded by the ghost of Bhaagamathie (a princess). Soon Chanchala starts to behave like a ghost. She even speak Arabic language and she completely behaves like a ghost. Later she was admitted to a mental hospital.
Eshwar Prasad reaches there nd talks to her. He thought that Chanchala was actually playing a drama for protecting him.Actually Eshwar Prasad is a born criminal and he pretends to be a gentleman. He kills the people of villages who protested against a project which was actually planned by Eshwar Prasad. With a shocking twist, it is revealed that Chanchala was actually trapping Eshwar Prasad to bring out his cruelty to the world. Actually Chanchala's husband(Unnimukundan) was killed by Eshwar Prasad. Chanchala released the footages of Eshwar Prasad's men killing to media. Eshwar Prasad realises that and tries to shoot her. Meanwhile Shakthi's brother, the police officer shoots Eshwar Prasad.
Everybody praises Chanchala's effort to bring out the huge corruption of Eshwar Prasad.
Later...
In a friendly talk, Vaishnavi asks that how Chanchala spoke the Arab language while she acted as a ghost. Chanchala replies that she don't know Arab and she doesn't speak at that time.....Suspense...
