Thr diameter of the wheel of a car is 70 m. How many revolutions will it make to travel one kilometre?

1km=1000m
circumference of wheel=pi*diameter=220m
number of revolutions made=1000/220=4.55 or 5

1 km = 1\times 1000 \ = 1000m \\ now \: radius = d \div 2 = 70 \div 2 = 35cm \\ now \: circumference = 2\pi \:r \\ \: \: \: \\ =2 \times 22 \div 7 \times 35 = 220cm \\ 220m = 1 \: revolution \\ then \: 1000 \: revolutions \\ = 1000 \div 220 \\ = 4.54\: revolutions.
