Three Brothers on a Farm

Three brothers live in a farm. They agreed to buy new seeds: Adam and Ben would go and Charlie stayed to protect fields. Ben bought 75 sacks of wheat in the market whereas Adam bought 45 sacks. At home, they split the sacks equally. Charlie had paid 1400 dollars for the wheat. How much dollars did Ben and Adam get of the sum, considering equal split of the sacks?

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Amar and binod bought 75 and 45 sacks of wheat , total 120 sacks.

Now they return back to home and devided equally means each received 40 sacks of wheat . in question given that chetan pay 1400 for his part which he receive . here chetan receive 40 sacks of wheat. it means

40 sacks of wheat price is 1400 rs now ,

1 sack of wheat price 1400/ 40 = 35 rs

binod bought 45 sacks of wheat it means he spend 35× 45 = 1575 rs

now amar bought 75 sacks of wheat then he spends 75×35 = 2625 rs

now cost of wheat = 35×120 = 4200rs

now chetan pay 1225 to amr and 175 pay to binod fir equal split if the sacks.....
