Three consecutive integers

Let the first integer be x, second be (x+1) & third be (x+2)

x+x+1+x+2= 51

3x+3 = 51

3x= 51–3

3x = 48

x= 48/3

x = 16

3x = 48

x = 48/3

x = 16

x +1 = 16+1 =17

x+2 = 16+2 = 18

Hence the integers are 16,17 & 18

lLet three consecutive integers be x,x+1 and x+2

Three consecutive integers add up to 51.

x+x+1+x+2 = 51

3x+3 = 51

3(x+1) = 51

x+1 = 51/3

x+1 = 17

x = 17-1

x = 16

x = 16

x+1 = 16+1 = 17

x+2 = 16+2 = 18
