as we know that total measure of triangle

= 180°

so now,

(3x - 40 ) +( x + 20 )+ (2x - 10) = 180

3x - 40 + x + 20 + 2x - 10 = 180

6x - 30 = 180

6x = 180 + 30

6x = 210

x = 210 / 6

x = 35

hence,the value of x =35

Given : Three angles of the triangle is (3x-40),(x+20),(2x-10)

To Find : value of x and angles

Solution:

Sum of angles of triangle = 180°

3x - 40  + x + 20  + 2x - 10 = 180

=> 6x  - 30 = 180

=> 6x = 210

=> x = 35

3x - 40  = 3(35) - 40  = 65

x + 20  = 35 + 20  = 55

2x - 10 = 2(35) - 10  = 60

Three angles of triangle are :

65° , 55° and 60°

Value of x = 35
