Three metal cube with edge 6 cm ,8cn and 10cm respectively melt down from a single cube find the volume of new cube also find the edge of the n ew cube with its total surface area

V one = 6 ka cube
           = 216 cubic cm
V two = 8 ka cube
            = 512 cubic cm
V three = 10 ka cube
             = 1000 cubic cm
Volume of new cube = 216+512+1000
                               = 1728 cubic cm
Edge of new cube = cube root of 1728
                                = 12 cm

Solution:

Volume of the cube with side 6 cm = (side)3 = (6)3 = 216 cm3

Volume of the cube with side 8 cm = (side)3 = (8)3 = 512 cm3

Volume of the cube with side 10 cm = (side)3 = (10)3 = 1000 cm3

Volume of the big cube = 216 cm3 + 512 cm3 + 1000 cm3 = 1728 cm3

Side of the resulting cube = 1728−−−−√3 = 12 cm

Total surface area = 6 (side)2 = 6(12)2 = 6 × 144 cm2 = 864 cm2.
