3a = 18

a = 6

(a-d)² + a² + (a+d)² = 140

(6-d)² + (6+d)² = 140 - 36

36 + d² - 12d + 36 + d² -12d = 104

2d² = 104 - 72 = 32

d² = 32/2 = 16

d = 4

so numbers a - d = 6-4 = 2; a= 6;  a+d = 6+4+ 10
