Solution:
Given A, B &,C shared profit in the ratio of 1:2:3
Let x, 2x and 3x be the shares of A, B and C respectively
[ since they are in 1:2:3 ratio ]
Given that C received Rs. 12000 more than A
⇒ 3x = x + 12000
⇒ 2x = 12000
⇒ x = 6000
Then share of B, 2x = 2(6000) = 12000
Share of B is 12000
