three watches are to be distributed among three brothers and the cost of 2nd watch is two third of 1st watch and cost of third watch is half of the cost of 2nd watch if total cost of three watches is 2700 so find the value of each watch

Total cost of 3 watches = rs. 2700

Let the cost of first watch be = RS. x

So, cost of second watch = Rs. 2x/3

Cost of third watch = 1/2 * 2x/3 = Rs. x/3

ATQ- x + 2x/3 + x/3 = Rs. 2700

→  3x+2x+x / 3 = Rs. 2700

6x/3 =Rs. 2700

x = 2700*3/6 = 1350

So x = Rs. 1350

→ So cost  of first watch = Rs. x = Rs. 1350

Cost of 2nd watch = 1350*2/3 = Rs. 900

Cost of 3rd watch = Rs. 900/2 = Rs. 450
