Tidal forests have less variety? why?

Answer:

Tidal forests are forests that grow in the delta regions of Ganga ,Godavari,Mahanadhi,Krishna ,Kaveri. The trees grown in these regions have stilt like roots which support the plants during high tide. These forests grow in saline water.
