In order to make the title of the document bold:

Select the title and then click on bold option in the font group from the menu on the home tab.

Keyboard shortcut: CTRL+B

To make the title centre aligned:

Select the title and then click on Page Layout tab- then the dialogue box launcher in the group of Page Setup,and finally click on layout tab.

Click ‘centre’ in the vertical alignment option in the formatting ribbon at the top of the document.
