AB = 6 cm ----( 1 )
AP / AB = 2/5
AP / 6 = 2/5 [ from ( 1 ) ]
AP = ( 6 × 2 ) /5
AP = 12 /5
AP = 2.4 cm ---- ( 2 )
AP + PB = AB
2.4 + PB = 6
PB = AB - AP
= 6 - 2.4
= 3.6 cm----( 2 )
ratio = AP / PB
= 2.4 / 3.6
= 2 / 3
= 2 : 3
