The Copper Sulphate turn pale green when an iron nail is kept in it . A chemical reaction takes place between Copper Sulphate solution and the Iron Nail, Iron being more reactive than copper, it displaces Copper from Copper Sulphate and forms Ferrous Sulphate......... which is green in colour....
