cuboidal block of silver is 9 cm long ,4cm borad and 3.5cm high. Find the number of beads of volume 1.5cm cube each ,that can be made from the block .

Volume=(9 × 4 × 3.5) cm3
=126cm3

Number of breads=126/1.5
=84

here's your answer !!

Dimensions of the big block ----->
9 cm long
4 cm broad
3.5 cm high .

So the volume of the bigger block is ----->
9 cm * 4 cm * 3.5 cm
= 126 cm^3 .

Now, volume of the smaller cube is ----->
1.5 cm^3 .

So , number of cubes that can be carved out are -----> 126 / 1.5 = 84 ( ANSWER ) .
