Dear Diary,
Today was truly the worst. Not only did my day begin with stale cereal, the milk was expired. To make matters worse, the bus broke down and I missed my first class. I even forgot it was test day! I think I failed. I’m afraid of what my parents will think but I just wanted to hide in a dark corner of the world. I hope tomorrow is different but, knowing my luck, it probably won’t be.

Dear Diary,
Today, I was on cloud 9 as I had successfully won the Inter school Cooking competition held by my school. During the awarding ceremony, I was shocked and delighted at the same time as the Chief guest called out my name as a true winner and everyone was cheering for me. It was a proud moment as the Honourable Chief minister handed over the trophy to me, glistening in the sunlight.
I am still proud of my major achievement. But frankly speaking, all the cheer and wishes go to my parents, who were behind my success and encouraged and urged me to work harder and more harder. I will never be able to express my thoughts to my parents throughout my whole life.
This will be one of my most grateful and proud moments of my life and I promise myself that this will be an achievement that will always encourage me to achieve success with flying colours.
