Total Lorentz force acting on a charge q moving with velocity v in electric
and magnetic fields of strengths ⃗ and ⃗⃗ can be calculated by using the
formula:

(a) =q [⃗ + X ⃗ ] (b) =q [⃗ - X ⃗ ]

(c) =q [⃗ + . ⃗ ] (d) =q [⃗ x + ⃗ ]mi

Answer:

given=  charge(q)

             velocity (v)

to find = formula

solution=

        apply the 2 formulas of electric force and magnetic force

         electric force =  Fe =   qE

         magnetic force = Fe = q(V x B)

         lorentz force =   Fe + Fb

                               qE + q (V x B )

           (put the above formulas in ve ctor form )
