h of cylinder = 40 cm
radius of cone , hemisphere , cone = 3cm
h of cone 4 cm

Total surface area of toy = surface area of hemisphere + surface area of cylinder + surface area of cone

= 2pie(r)^2 + 2pie(r)h + pie(r)l

l^2 = r^2 + h^2
l^2 = (3)^2 + (4)^2
= 9 + 16
= 25
= root25
l = 5 cm

S.A of hemi. ==> 2×22/7 × (3)^2
== 2×22/7 × 9
== 56.57 cm^2
___________

S.A of cylinder ==> 2×22/7 (3)(40)
== 754.28 cm^2
___________

S.A of cone ==> 22/7 (3)(5)
==47.14 cm^2
___________

Total surface area of toy ==> (56.57 + 754.28 + 47.14)cm^2
==> 857.99 cm^2

So that the total surface area of toy is 857(approx) cm^2

Anonymous: jahan pie dia hua hai apke answer mai....uski jagah 22/7 put krlo.....fir use solve kro..
Magic11: i didn't understand because the final answer of this question is 273 pi sq.cm
Anonymous: 273(22/7) sq.cm.........bcoz I put the value of in place of pie in your answer 273 ( ) sq.cm
Anonymous: jab aap que. solve kro ge to pie ki value mat put krna... .its a simple
Magic11: but still the answer is not coming
Anonymous: you can divide 857 by 22/7...

Answer:first find slant height of the cone . Formula is

L square =H square + R square

We ge L= 5

Total surface area of cone +curved surface area of cylinder + curved surface area of hemisphere ..

Please note:(R= radius .L= slant height. H=height )

=pi(R×L) + 2pi(R×h) + 2pi(r^2)

We take pi as common and then we substitute values

At last we get

Pi×3×91

Thus we get answer . 273pi cm^2
