area of pqrs=area of triangle pqr plus area of triangle ptr
area of triangle pqr=1/2×b×h
1/2×8×3=12cmsquare
similarily is area of triangle ptr is equal to
12cm square
hence total area is24cm square

LPTR=90 DEGREE

Lpqr=90 degree(in a parallelogram opposite angles are equal)

area of triangle pqr=1/2*8*3=12cm square

in the parallelogram diagonal pr divides it into 2 congruent triangles,

therefore triangle ptr=12 cm square

area of parallelogram pqrt=24 cm square

area(trs)=TR=3 cm(opp sides are equal)

pt=8 cm,ts=4 cm

therefore area of triangle rts=1/2*4*3=6 cm square

hence area of pqrs=24+6=30 cm square
