when a bright light is focussed on our eye, the pupil becomes small and the cornea relaxes to form an image on the retina.

Answer:

When the bright light is focused on your lights the photoreceptors generate electrical impulses and send it to the sensory neurons

they carry the stimuli to the spinal cord which transports the message to the brain

the brain revert back the message by the motor neurons which contract the Pupil.

The sequence of events which occur is as follows:-

Receptors ->sensory neurons -> brain ->motor neurons ->eye muscles-> pupil
