HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER:-

Plants transport system is similar in many ways to an animal's blood circulatory system. Transportation of food takes place through phloem. The substances transported are as follows - mineral salts (ions) from the soil, and the products of photosynthesis from the leaves - are dissolved in water.material like sucrose is transferred into phloem tissue energy from ATP. this increases the osmotic pressure of the tissue causing water move into it this pressure moves the material in the phloem to tissues which have less pressure . this allow phloem move material according to the plant need's

It proposes that water containing food molecules flows under pressure through the phloem. ... At their "source" — the leaves — sugars are pumped by active transport into the companion cells and sieve elements of the phloem. As sugars (and other products of photosynthesis) accumulate in the phloem, water enters by osmosis.
