We are leaving Ahemedabad to Delhi on 9th September in Rajdhani Train. Foods in Rajdhani is as usual. Despite many complaints about dinner, they are not changing the menu said the serviceman of the railway. Breakfast is excellent if one compare it with dinner. Anyway we reached Delhi next day at 7.30. My cousin is also arrived from Mumbai at 8.00 'o clock. We hired tempo travelers for UK.
Roads are not good and there are many potholes. Heavy traffic in Delhi and bad road between some part of Delhi to UK
Reach Nainital at 8am. We r staying at Hotel Himalaya. Rooms are good. Our rooms are lake facing. Not intrested in shlpping so we select this hotel away (nt very far from market). Hotel also provide additional activity for children such as TT and Golf. We celebrated our Diwali there. All Taals are excellent, specially Nakuchiyataal. Roads also in very good condition.
Spent two hours in boating in Nakychiyataal. If one want to stay peacefully for two or more days, they must select Nakuchiyataal. Aloof and very peaceful. After that we are heading to Bhimtaal. Visited the temple but forget the name. It was situated it ,between Nakuchiya and Bhimtaal. Take lunch in Bhimtaal. Compare to Nakuchiyataal, Bhimtaal is crowded. As lunch was not good, I took chai and namkeen.
Then we are heading to Ghodakhal Temple. Nice location and lovely temple fully cover with bells. Many monkeys are wandering around and on the temple. Some visitors said that movie Vivah was shoot here. Must visit destination.
Heading to Nainital, we saw that the fogs cover whole city with its hands. And many people still boating in that fogs. Two lakes are not visited because the Nainital Zoo. First if one is with family or has aged person please do not take them with you to that Zoo. Zoo was famous for Siberian Tiger, and sadly the tiger was dead. Second thing the zoo has very very steep ascending. We hired a Tata Sumo for the Zoo. A tea stall near zoo was good and they made good tea. For the purpose of photography zoo was a good location.
Zoo takes our precious two hours in vain. And thats why we are unable to visit those two lakes.
Hotel's minus points
1. Name plate is not place in front of veg and non veg food.
2. Unable to cope with too many customers.
Next day we get up early and heading to Naina Lake. We hired a boat and reach to the other side of the lake. Temple is located here. As we reach near the ground some people encircled us and ask, if we want to hire a taxi. We hired 3 taxis for more sightseeing.
Reached at Sunset Point and Suicide/lover's point. Both are nice. After that we are at KMVN bunglow. Its near ropeway.
Ropeway is closed due to holiday so enjoy with go-carting. Rickshaw is the be
