formula of perimeter of parallelogram is 2(a+b)
so the adjacent sides are in proportion 4:5
let common multiple be x
4x:5x
length =4x & breadth =5x
put in formula
2(4x+5x) =54.... perimeter of parallelogram
2(9x)=54
18x=54
x=54/18
x=3
length=4x
=4(3)
=12 cm
