Hi ,

Sum of the adjacent angles are

supplementary in a parallelogram.

If x and y are two adjacent angles ,

x : y = 1 : 5

Sum of the ratio = 1 + 5 = 6----( 1 )

x + y = 180° ----( 2 )

6 parts = 180°

1 part = 180 /6 =30

x = 1 part = 30°

y = 5 parts = 5 × 30 = 150°

I hope this helps you.
