coordinates (X,Y) and coordinates (128,0). is at same distance to origin (0,0)

To find the distance "d":-

we first find the values of x and y

we know that: from origin the distance between co.(X,y) is 128.

that mean . √(x-0)²+(y-0)² =128 unit

so, √x²+y² = 128 unit

x²+y²=128²------------1st eq.

now , the distance d between co. (128,0) and co.(X,y) is....

√(x-128)²+(y-0)² = d

x²+128²-256x+ y² =d²--------2nd eq.

putting the value of first eq. in second eq.

128²+128²-256x =d²

256(64+64-x)=d²

√256(128-x)=d
