Two Capacitors are connected into serie. The equivalent Capacitance of the combination is 15 micro farad. If the Capacitance of one capacitor is 20 micro farad, calculate the Capacitance of the another Capacitor.​

In series combination the resultant capacitance is given by

1/C= 1/C1 * 1/C2 (As resistance combination in parallel)

AS GIVEN

1/15 = 1/20 + 1/x (say another resistance =x)

So to find out x solve above equation with mathamatical operations

1/x = 1/15- 1/20

So we get x =60microfarad
