x+y=90°.........given-------(2)

Add equation1 and equation2

x-y+x+y=90-18

x+x=72°

2x=72°

x=72/2

x=36°

:x+y=90°............from equation2

36+y=90°

y=90-36

y=54°

therefore the two angles are 36°and 54°.
