let first no.=x
second no.=x+1
according to question
 \frac{1(x + 1)}{2}  =  \frac{1x}{4}  + 5 \\  \frac{1(x + 1)}{2}  =  \frac{x + 20}{4}  \\ 2x + 40 = 4x + 4 \\ 2x = 36 \\ so \: x = 18
