The value of x is 4 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that two diagonals of isosceles trapezium are x cm. and (3x-8)cm.

According to Isosceles Trapezoid Diagonals theorem, the diagonals of isosceles trapezium are congruent.

3x-8=x

Add 8 on both sides.

3x-8+8=x+8

3x=x+8

Subtract x from both sides.

3x-x=x+8-x

2x=8

Divide both sides by 2.

x=\frac{8}{2}

x=4

Therefore, the value of x is 4 cm.
