resultant = √ A² + B² + 2AB Cos∅
=> √ 20² + 5² + 2 × 20 × 5 - 1/ 2
√ 400 + 25 - 100
√ 425 -100
√ 325 .
now , direction =>
to find direction we use
tan Alpha = bsin∅ / A+ B cos∅
=> 5 × √ 3/2 / 20 + 5 / 1/2
tan alpha = √ 3 / 12
alpha = tan inverse √ 3 / 12 .
