The angle will be nearly 60°.

Solution:
Given:- Magnitudes of initial force = 20 N,25 N
Magnitude of resultant force = 39 N

Let 20 N be 'a', 25 N be 'b' and 39 N be 'f'.

Thus, using triangle law of addition,
f^2 = a^2 + b^2 + 2abcos theta
1521 = 400 + 625 + 1000cos theta
1521 - 1025 = 1000cos theta
cos theta = 496/1000 I. E. Approx 500/1000 =1/2
cos theta = 1/2
Theta = 60°
