cell wall is maily present in plant cell. cell wall was discovered by a scientist Robert Hooke. cell wall plays an important role in plant cell is cell wall exerts an inward wall pressure to resist the outward directed pressure exerted by cell sap. hence the plant cells withstand much greater changes in surrounding medium than animal cells.
