1st men:
force(tension)= m × a
= m×g
2nd men:
f = m × a
= m/2 × g/2
= mg/4

ratio = mg / (mg/4)
= 4:1

Answer:8:3

Explanation:

For man 1:

Tension in string=mg+mg=2mg

For man 2:

Tension in string=m/2*g+m/2*g/2=3mg/4

Ratio:

2mg/3mg/4=8:3
