Two numbers are in ratio 9:13 and their sum is 440 . find the numbers??????

let 1st no. be 9x

2nd no be 13x

9x+13x= 440

22x = 440

X=440/22=20

1st no. = 9x=9×20= 180

2nd no. = 13x =13×20=260
